Bareera Khan, a Pakistani short story writer and poet, born on September 30, 2001, in Karachi, the capital of the third largest province of Pakistan. After getting high grades at her secondary education, she is currently at her preparatory year for surgical medicine college, but also planning to study English literature, to fulfill one of her all-time dreams, which is having a double career, as a surgical doctor and a professional writer.

Living in a region that witnessed a lot of political turbulence and economic sanctions, she grew up in a deprived society where people have to endure poverty, injustice, social oppression, discrimination, limited freedom of speech, fear of censorship, terrorism, and most of all, the male dominance.

As a result, she empowered her young self by listening to motivational speakers and life coaches, where she realized the power of words that provide a bold affirmation of our innermost thoughts, and how we see others, our lives and ourselves. That is when she decided to use one's most powerful asset which is the power that lies in our words, and had this unbreakable connection with pens, ink and papers.

Her utmost aim is to consistently work to make the world a better place, through medicine that heals physical wounds and pain, but also through writing that heals emotional breakups and shattered souls. She always admired and followed celebrities that have lent their names to charitable causes, and raised awareness for crucial domestic and international social issues, the thing that formed a great source of inspiration to unleash the writer in her.

This inspiration created a tender style of writing, hitting heavenly notes and describing life as God's most precious gift, and man's least valuable one. Khan's writings revolve around love, life, friendship, hope, courage, rising from ashes, and self-empowerment, in the form of prose poetry, and short stories that touch the heart of every reader.
